question about monitors?

I was wondering can you use computer monitors in arcade games...The monitor is a raduis and they where using if on mac computers...

Nope. You can't use a modern computer monitor in an arcade machine that needs a standard arcade monitor. Some very new games actually use VGA though...

You *can* use a very old computer monitor with arcade games, but you need one that supports 15.75khz RGB - VGA is 31khz. Suitable monitors were used on Commodore Amiga, Atari ST and Apple IIgs computers. These monitors will be small 13" ones, and work great as test monitors.

You can, but you'll need a converter like this.

You should also be aware that computer monitors are measured different
in size than most other types of monitors.

For instance, a 19" computer monitor tube will be smaller than the tube
of an arcade monitor or t.v.
