Hi everyone, can someone tell me where I can find a sound pot for a MK1 pcb? Just recently acquired one for a multi switch project and it was working before being shipped according to the seller but currently Im not getting any sounds, everything is plugged in right so the sound pot is the only thing left I can think of that could be causing the issue. If someone else has a little insight on this or can point me in the direction of a sound pot, please do. Thanks.

Put your ear all the way up to the speaker and listen for game sounds. If you can hear them faintly, your sound board is working, just needs a new pot. Even with the pot unhooked, you'll hear faint game sounds. If you can't hear any game sounds, then it's not your pot. But to answer your question, you can get one from Broodwich...

...or your local Radioshack...

Ok I'll check for some kind of noise when I get the chance later, all the sound roms check out during the test so is there anything that could be wrong that would not show up during the rom check Zeno?

Definitely contact me here on KLOV to save a few bucks on the volume pot/cable if you decide to buy one. If you don't need a long cable length i can cut even more off the price.

as a test you could jumper the pins for the volume pot and see if you get audio, do not leave it this way.

edit: Just as a warning if you jumper the pins for the volume pot the volume will be pegged to MAX. So use this with caution.
