wanting to know about:

- what kind of computer to use
- how to make control panel compatible to computer
- can I hook up coin mech and make them work for game
- and whatever else I missed
- I seen where you can add spinners, trackball, and etc. what to know how to do that too

:)

The type of computer depends on what type of monitor you are using. TV? Arcade Monitor? PC Monitor or LCD? Each of these will require a different video card or adapter to get you going. Also, the Mame front end you choose will also change how powerful of a computer you will need. Mame emulation itsel;f can run on a pretty slow and outdated computre, but running a Front End like Hyperspin requires at least a core 2 duo processor and 4 GB of ram. Google "Mame Front Ends" for more info.

Ultimarc (use the google) makes a device called the iPac that will allow you to connect arcade controls to a PC via the PS2 or USB slots available.

You can hook up the coin mechs easily to the Ultimarc iPac... but I would just use credit buttons or wire credit buttons to the 1p or 2p start buttons.

Spinners and trackballs are doable also.

Check out the link above and remember... Google is your friend.
