Hey guys, can someone help me, i'm trying to repair Gunblade NY, and i'm newbie in repairing arcade machines, problem with him is stucking after few seconds of play, or in the beginning of demostration. What part can be a reason? Fuses not blown, memory test shows "good" on all chips, but in one chip, ic14, screen always fills with artefacts, but then, after few seconds, everything looks ok, that chip is "good" like others and test goes complete.
And one more question - what board named "filter board (i/o board)" not motherboard, isn't?
Wait for your advice, and sorry for my english :)

Check your voltages. I don't know what is used in Russia, but the game board SHOULD use +5VDC and +12VDC. The 5 volts is key for the logic to run without freezing up. It sounds like this is your problem. Start with that. Also, if you have a manual for the game, that would help you as well. If you don't have one, pick up a multi-meter and try to find where the voltages connect to the game board. Check them there. Let us know if this helps you at all.

Not for long( With adjustment of 5v output of filter board game sometimes work 20-40 minutes, but then stuck on random place of demo loop. 12v output =12.02 volts. Does anybody know proper way to adjust it? Or, may be, exist another frequent reason of this problem, somebody can tell me what better be to try next?
