Question about 4 player games on 2 player machines.

Quick question.
If I built a jamma cabinet that is set up for only 2 players and I put in a 3 or 4 player jamma board like teenage mutant nin turt, moonwalker, rampage, etc., what will happen? Do you just not wire up the 3rd or 4th player? It will work ok?

Also can I simply swap Jamma boards on the older games like this as long as they are jamma?

If you are building a cabinet with the idea of swapping the jamma board every year how do you mount the board inside when each one is a different size? Any suggestions.

Thanks!

Don't wire up additional players and it should work OK. Some games that have more than 2 characters have an alternate set of ROMs that allow you to pick the character you want to play at controls for players 1 & 2.

Any JAMMA game that actually followed the standard should work. Some games tried to use unconnected pins in the JAMMA standard so you do need to watch out for that!

Build a shelf and lay the board on the shelf?
