Quantum Repro

Its one of those fancy xlsx files!

Attached is the zipped ".xls" version for your convenience if you can't read the ".xlsx" file I originally attached.

There is a free add-in from Microsoft so the older versions of office/excel can read and write ".xlsx" files. If you don't have excel, you can use OpenOffice which is a freeware Microsoft Office-like package and will read and write these spreadsheet files as well. I use OpenOffice on my lab computers.

Hey Bill... thanks for the file conversion but, as I stated above, I am using windows 7 and Excel 2010 so the spreadsheet format is not my trouble. Would be awesome to even get that far.
I cannot open the zip archive.
Clearly the issue is with me because others have been successful. That's reallt all I was after... confirmation that others were able to download the archive and successfully extract it.
I have forwarded it to a co-worker who also cannot open it so I am not sure what's going on there. Our computers are loaded from the same image but I have no issue what-so-ever unzipping other archives or any format.
I am have tried:
Opening directly from the link in your post (screen shot 1)
Saving to desktop and opening with Window's built in utility (screen shot 2)
Saving to desktop and opening with Winzip (screen shot 3)
when I use BitZipper I can at least see the spreadsheet inside the archive but it will not extract (and doesn't present errors when it fails)
7-Zip extracts it, with no extension. Adding the extension .xls, and attempting to open it with Excel 2010 results in an error (screen shots 4 and 5)

I am officially stumped.

Try WinRAR

I get the same problem and I am using Win XP and Office 2007. Tried WinRAR and but it doesn't provide the extension.

Wow - I used winzip to zip it.

Send me your email and I will email the unzipped version. Would someone be willing to host the unzipped file?

No need my friend... let's agree to blame it on 64 bit Windows 7

I have a PC at home with wonderful, plain old Windows XP and I was able to extract it and open it fine with OpenOffice Calc (because I have never owned a personal copy of Office).

Thanks for your continued interest.
;-)

SUCCESS!! After a couple of weeks away from this project, I was able to get the repro board with all white vectors back on the bench. It turned out that the video ram at 7F was bad - another bad chip! Now board number one is fully working and ready to go to its owner. One down, two to go. :) Then I can get back to my cabinet integration. It is standing tall ready for a working PCB. Of course mine will be the last of the three repro pcbs.

TRIPLE SUCCESS!!!

The other two boards are also now working!!

Repro PCB #2 - Bad 74LS393 in the watchdog circuit (location 4R - pin 6 no output)

Repro PCB #3 - Unbelievably, a brand new 68000 was bad!! I grabbed one from a food fight board and voila!!

All three are now working. :D:D:D

Now I can start integrating my cabinet!!
