First Quantum cabinet is mostly finished. Only thing left i am waiting on, is the info for the Amplifone mounting strips on the cabinet insides. Other thing not pictured, but included, is the slide in tray that holds the top speaker and light fixture. Game back door is included, i just had it off for pics.

This cabinet was done in white melamine 3/4 sheeting for the sides, with the insides of those panels vinyled black to match the atari factory finish. Coin panel is also white melamine, and it's screwed in, and removeable for ease of art installation. one side of the cabinet at the bottom, and the CP area, is also screwed together, so you can back the screws out, and get the panel out easy.

Game top, back, back door, lower, are all done in Black 3/4 melamine. Monitor mount, as well as all inner braces done in 3/4 Birch plywood for strength. Includes new leg levelers and plates, price is 400.00 Pickup is nice, but if you need it shipped, and arrange shipping, i'll pallet, band, shrink wrap and carboard the game for material costs. Also, Seawolf is coming here from Chicago, and Roadrunner000 is coming from Pittsburgh, you might contact them to check on getting your game transported to those two areas.

ALso, the other new items. Here's what else i'm doing in this exact same style, same price. Gravitar, Black Widow, Tempest, and Food Fight.

Phoenix Arcade is doing Quantum artwork, and i think Food Fight, he may be doing some other Atari art too. Takeman is taking on the Quantum control panel repro, and the lower bezel retainer. Contact me for payment info, once paid your on the list, and cabs are done in that order. I do have a few odds and ends cabinets, misc game parts, and a few signs to do, but i should be starting on the Atari run in about 10 days. Order now, get on the list, and i will have materials delivered in less than ten days.

Here's the list so far..

thanks, this is some of my best work yet. These look better than factory, took me about two full days to cut and assemble.

Does anyone know if NAVL charges less since this doesn't weigh as much as a loaded cab?

I'm interested for sure.. Just have to figure out how to get this to Florida economically...

i had an account set up with Fedex, and to try and get them on the phone to set up a shipment is retarded. They get your number to call you back, then they never call. I know gamegirl has great luck with them, but i can't get them to do shit for me.

Almost forgot, Dokert is making the wiring harnesses for Quantum soon too, so there's lots of pieces available to get your quantum project started.

Let me fill in the numbers for you, it's 25810 and that cabinet is beautiful. Secured myself a working board 9with a warranty)today at an absolute steal and these pics are a great nite cap.

There was talk about reproducing the PCBs and AMP monitors too. Along with all the other stuff, we should have brand new Quantum cabinets, fully functional.

Watch the price of Quantums drop drastically, now. :D

Very nice looking cab, Dpt!

Seems like everything plus shipping a cab would cost close to an original.

But it would be BRAND NEW. No busted corners, scratched artwork & NO SMELL :)

Originals will still hold their Value as they are ORIGINAL.

Also, you could run a ZVG in there until you got a boardset or even MAME. There are a few options with this.

If you guys have never seen Bretts cabs in person, you would be amazed. The detail, fitment & assembly is top notch!

Very nice work.

I was thinking of restoring my Food Fight and you got me thinking... Should I expect Food Fight cabinets being $400?

What's your zip code Bret?

Oh, and I thought you were out of this hobby? :)

heh zip is 43457 Bill.. i'm just south of toledo. I downsized my cab making by about 70%. and i downsized my collection by about the same amount, and still trying to get rid of quite a few games too. I'll be serious about collecting when i have all my debt erased, and i'm off to a good start! FF cabs will be the same, and look just as good.

If anyone in Florida wants to get one, please let me know.. If we split shipping, it would be about $250/per cab delivered to my house.. not bad if you considered what it would take to drive up and pick one up!
