Qnic CGM-2500 Monitor suffering from vertical collapse

I recently purchased a 2 slot Neo Geo MVS and the monitor has vertical screen collapse. Does anyone know what component failure would most likely cause this? Thanks.

funny, i need a good flyback for one of these..
lack of 21v supply or the la7831

Well,

That alldepends on what you mean by vertical collapse. I know what I think that means, but that isn't always what it is.

Pics are best, and when in doubt, do the caps. After that, things can get more specific because by doing the caps, you'll probably fix the problem.

Also, what chassis is in there? I have an MVS2 with a Kortek chassis in it.

Don't listen to a word I say! I didn't even realize that the chassis was in the title, plus I don't even know what I'm talking about after a long day!
SorrY!

I had a beautiful QNIC CGM-2500 fully working. Key word "had". I shipped it, in a monitor box, and sure enough they broke the neck. I got it back and still have the chassis, including the flyback. If anyone is interested, I'd sell it pretty cheap, but I guess I have to call it untested now. Unless someone can tell me there's an easy way to test it by hooking it up to a WG or Electrohome 19" monitor somehow.

I would be interested in it if I can't resolve my issue, but I'll let Chad get first shot at it. If he doesn't end up needing it send me a pm with the asking price and I'll get back to you as soon as I replace a few parts and test my chassis.

I'm interested in it. My chassis board has bad traces so I can't do much with it. I'll send a pm.
