Qnic 2500 Monitor V-position problem

I did end up taking out the control board and cleaning it. The red connection needed to be re-soldered, because of a connection issue. Easy to do.

Unfortunately the vertical problem cannot be remedied by using the pots. I get a great image on the screen, but it is too high. While cleaning the board I found this:

I did download the manual, but this pot is not explained. Anyone have any ideas what it is used for? Could this be the fix for my problem? I don't think the yoke can be moved on the tube. Not sure...

I'd like to give a big thanks to security0001 for helping me with to cap my first chassis. I did have to change the vertical chip also. He was very helpful! Recapping and the vertical chip solved the V-position. Now on to the next problem... the horizontal coil.
