Qix sideart $12 a side

Have any plans for yours yet, not sure what I am going to do with mine.

i bought some a long time a go and a space invaders....they are so oversized its pathetic...
it will have to be cut to fit on any machine...unless its the size of a fridge!
i bought it when they were like $17 a side 3 years back...
its nice and thick tho, but geesh its huge...

Any idea how tall it really is? The ebay listing said 60" which is actually a little short for most machines.

Just got mine, they look great. They are a little short for most cabinets, but way too big for a cabaret. I will likely theme my 60 in 1 with Qix art based on this.

i was thinking the same using them for my 60 in 1 but im trying to think what to do about being to short i guess just leave the bottom black

I think it is too wide for MOST cabinets, however some cabinets are pretty deep, it didn't have all that much width to spare when I held it against my Dynamo z-back cabinet. Not sure why they made it conversion size though, I thought conversion kits were a thing of the past.

If you want to build or find something specifically to put it on the Midway 8080 cabinets (Gun Fight, Clowns, Amazing Maze, etc) are short enough. I was thinking of cutting a copy of my Clowns cabinet and using this sideart with a 60 in 1 board.

Hello, does anybody have a spare one of these to sell me? I almost pulled the trigger, then thought I'd never use it. I'm building a mini-digital pinball machine that is 18" wide, 36" deep and 28" tall. I'm thinking I could I chop up one of these and wrap my machine. What is the exact dimension? How much do you want for it shipped? Thanks.

Honestly, this is about how much the typical sideart SHOULD cost.

I would love to put sideart on my DK, but I just have a real hard time swallowing paying the asking price.

And I don't think I'm just being a typical KLOV cheapass.

$60 for a couple of stickers??

They're killing me...

For that amount of money I could go to the sticker machine at the market on the corner and buy enough to wallpaper my bedroom.

$60 is more then fair for Side Art. Have you ever tried to get real (Not Ink Jet printed) side art made? It's not cheap. The Qix side art is probably cheap because Namco probably had thousands of them made. Reproduction art is made in the 100's (or less) most of the time.

If somebody could break down the economics of it, I really would be more than happy to hear it so that I can understand it.

I understand that price comes down with volume, and volume will always be low on arcade cabinet sideart, but it seems like anybody with the infrastructure to print this stuff would HAVE to be doing it in volume.
