Hello...

On the Q*Bert sound/ amp board, there are four adjustment pots. Two pots are "dial type" and the other two are the gray pots that have a little brass flat-head adjustment screws.

Can some tell me the exact role of each one of these pots? That is, specify the pot and what it does.......(speech, volume and so forth)

Thanks a ton....

I believe R6 and R13 are part of the feedback loop of a couple of 741 op amps. R15 and R16 balance the sound and qbert noises into the audio amp so one is not louder than the other.

Thanks for the great info...

How does one adjust the frequency & speed of the QBert sounds?

I've never played with the adjustment of those two pots. I don't know if they change the pitch of qbert's curses or what.

Just FYI, R15 controls sounds, R16 is speech volume...

I finally have working audio on my Q*Bert, it was a bad A10 on the main PCB, but when it started working, the effects sounded blown out until I turned R15 down.
