Here is a picture of my powerbrick on the complete qbert, fully working.

The cab that I have restored which was a mania challenge, utilized this powerbrick, but hacked the ac power to a switcher.

My question is this:
Is that just an ac power distribution (the 16 pin molex or however many it is)?
If so, it should all be the same amount of power from each pin right? I don't have this part hooked up right now. Though I did get the connector which I could hack a bit into my new wiring (marquee, on/off, etc.)
With that being said, I should be able to run any wire to any spot I want huh? From the molex connector?

anyone following this?

Uh, no. Some will run +5, some +12, some ground, some AC, some DC, etc.

If you know the power brick is original to a Q*Bert, look up the power wiring diagram in a Q*Bert manual and you'll know what voltages correspond to which wire colors...

Download the manual, qbert manual has excellent schematics and diagrams in it. Sound like your getting ready to toast some boards.

I have a nice manul, guess I gotta look it up.
thanks guys

Yeah that's the last thing I need to do is toast some more boards. lol I have the 2 qberts, and both power and sound boards were rebuilt.
thanks again riptor, and takeman.

well, now that I think about it. You guys may be aware I have 2 qberts. I purchased the 2nd one just so I would have a reference for building this restoration.

It should be as easy as looking at where the wiring of hte other qbert is going and splicing and soldering from there huh?

I will consult the manul to be safe I suppose.

Be careful using the other one as refrence. They used three stripe wire and it can be a pain to see all three stripes. Double check everything before powering up the first time.
