I see a couple of users need

To clean the sand out of their vaginas.
Helping a new newb would be the proper thing to do.

Firstly welcome to KLOV.

What others are referring to most likely is that this section of the forum is used for "General Discussion", your best bet is to post in the for sale section, but title it "FA - Q*Bert on Ebay" [For Auction]. Some members will even still get upset if you post it in the general for sale section and not the auction section. The forum actually has a section dedicated to just auctions but I personally think it's OK to post it in the for sale section so long as you list it accordingly. Good luck with your sale.

Auctions: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38
For Sale Section: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11 *If your going to use this I would suggest posting a price. It generally does get more views than the auction section.

I see your point, but I see the others point as well. First post, all caps, and trying to push an Ebay auction.. all while not giving a shit about the rules on the forum. Perhaps the could have been a little nicer, but I'd bet the seller at least knows not to use all caps when typing something. :)

I think some of the problem is his post in this thread http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=251726&page=2
About GunSmoke Guy's Q*bert he picked up.

"Wow that sounds like a mess. If you are still looking to buy a Q*bert I have a working one for sale on Ebay. I just listed it last night with no reserve.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110961511097"

He obviously never even read the thread like Pookdolie pointed out since it was anything but a mess so he is coming off as a spammer.

The seller wanted to maximize as much exposure as possible, while it was wrong to post how he did in my thread and neglected to read it, it's sometimes OK to let other parties know that are reading about a particular game perhaps others might be interested in buying one. He could of said something along the lines of "I'm currently selling a Q, should anyone be interested in it please let me know etc.." Bottom line is it looks as though his game is going to be sold, hopefully in the future he will read the threads, and post in the proper section. He didn't follow forum protocol but at the end of the day he's just trying to let others know about an opportunity to buy his game. I'm not mad, hopefully it's a lesson learned to the seller for future listings. Can't complain about my local pick up! It's such a nifty cab, and great classic game... Good luck on the sale. Hopefully I get my knocker working within the next few days. :)

Hello I guess I am the Dumbass posting everything wrong. I really meant no harm. I posted it in disscussion because in my experience on other arcade forums a working Q*bert for sale on Ebay is quite the disscussion piece as well as it gets exposure for my listing.

I then posted in Gunsmokes thread because there were so many others in the thread that wanted a Q*bert. (I did read the entire thread) It was a great story of persistence that paid off with a showpiece Q*bert. Wow I wish I had that kind of luck.

Lastly I would like to apologize to anyone I might have offended by posting in the wrong area or not saying it the way I should have. I rescue, restore, and rehome arcade games. I have rehomed over 100 arcades so far this year to people who will love and appreciate them. I get a huge enjoyment knowing these old arcades are getting use again. I am also a lover of the hobby and have 12 arcades in my own home collection.

If you ask around to collectors in Indianapolis I have a very good honest reputation in this indusrty. Again I apologize and thank you for overlooking my ignorance.

Hi Travis, and welcome to the madness.

Generally the crowds aren't this rough and I do need to go clean up some mess in this thread... I'll relocate the thread to the auctions section of the market place too.

Please take a moment to fill out your location in your profile. That will help others know where you are and will make them more likely to deal with you.

Raymond
