I got this Q-bert game last year and am planning to restore it to its former glory. The control panel is done, but the cabinet is in really rough shape. The particle board has swollen pretty bad in spots and it looks like most of the exterior bolts are rusty. Originally I planned to cut a new cabinet, but on second consideration.....it appears to be relatively sturdy. The bottom was held up out of the moisture by the base (the base is almost gone) so the bottom looks to be structurally good. Anyone used wood hardener with success on Q bert particle board? If so, what kind? Any other suggestions before I start working on this fella?

Does she boot? And on the subject of new cab vs. restore the old one, it doesn't look all that bad man. I say if it sturdy enough restore it, if it crumbles either replace the crumbly bit or cut a new one.
