Hasn't anyone done the Q*Bert CPOs? Is this a licensing issue or something?

Just curious because it seems that they are hard to find.

Arcadeshop used to sell them. They had them in stock for many years with no issues. I have one of their CPOs and the front decal they used to sell as a set.

There's a guy that sells NOS (supposedly) on ebay. $97 + shipping. Don't let the pricetag fool you. He's super lenient with the "make an offer". I bought a set and they look great.

Here's the ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GOTTLIEB-Q-...066?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item2a146b7122

Here's a link to a thread where we briefly discussed the BIN offer: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=202072

I bought the same artwork from the same guy. Very nice stuff.

I made a $50 offer and he took it. The shipping was a little high, but I think he's shipping from Canada. Thanks for the advice guys!

If anyone knows Gottlieb licensing, if they aren't "NOS" there will be a C&D following pretty closely. So it makes sense to advertise them that way at least.

They are not NOS. They're still very, very nice though and a worthwhile replacement IMO.

Good to know and thanks. That doesn't hamper my decision on whether to get one but I'd hate to pass on misinforation I ever sold it.

How do know they are not NOS? What are the differences?

How can you tell that something isn't 30+ years old? Something that has glue and a backing that would shrink at a different rate over time? Something that would show some sign of color change at least on the thin backing paper? Is that the question?

These are very nice, but NOS, they are not. I'm happy with them though!

Yeah - Pretty quick and very nicely done as well. I bought the game 2 weeks ago and still haven't turned it on since I got it. I have the 10-in-1 kit to put in it as well. I just haven't done anything to it other than get it where it's going to be. Weird even for me. Been really busy getting our next video together. Really Busy.
