Can someone post some decent pics of the cabinet base for Q*bert. Mine has 2 thick rails but I think there should be a piece that goes across them in the front. I'm thinking from what I have read that there is not a piece in the back but I would like for someone to confirm. And were their originally levelers?

Don't have access to a camera at the moment, but checked my machine and the base has a front, back, and sides, all black, similar to a Nintendo cabinet. No leg levelers on my machine, just four round, flat, and very thin pads. Not sure if these are original.

Hope this helps.

this is rebuilt but the original was the same..

Thanks. I will post pics later but mine looks very similar. After I cleaned the cobwebs off, I can see where a board went across the front because of the paint overspray pattern. But it looks like there was not one across the back. Mine has 2 levelers in the front and none in the back but I suspect the back ones came off at some point. It has been slid around on the wood skids so much that the back part of the skids slope so I can't see any holes for levelers as they have probably partially filed in. I need to replace the skids anyway. Are they just pieces of plywood sandwiched together? Any tips for recreating them?

I have 4 boards on all sides, just like energeticalz stated. No levelers, just pads. 99 percent sure it's all original...

So it is interesting to see that there is definitely some question as to how these came. I took some pictures this morning and it is pretty obvious that there was a board across the front.

At first glance I thought that the back was the same but I am not so sure. It may be hard to tell from the pic but the paint overspray, the fine mist part that is in the middle of the bottom of the cab, goes all the way to the back with no gap where a board would have been. Yet the areas close to the large runners look like something was put up against them.

Makes me go hmmmmm.
