Hey Guys,
I replaced the speaker on my pyros hoping to solve the crackling sound issues as the old one was dry rotted, but it still has a problem. The pot/ volume knob located on the board gets static sounds when turned but still works the volume level, is this my problem, what to do? The monitor also makes a hi frequency pitch sound when turned on that sometimes gets lower after a minute? I replaced the switching power with a new happ one. I know they recommend between 110-120 for a/c but the d/c is off a little and it dials in everything else off, i'm getting 124 for a/c, i switched out the old one exactly as it was wired and there is nothing running to -5 terminal, so is that normal? it's the first one i've had to change out. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Mike-
