I put this in at work today. It took a couple of weeks of bureaucracy to get the permission to do it. lol. Its a blitz/showtime cabinet that originally was a MKII. Their biggest concern was the side art and game rating. The game is on freeplay and with over 1000 people in this office, I'm sure it'll get some game play. It'll be nice to see it played.

$5 says some butthole carves or Sharpies his name on it within a month. Or better yet a penis drawing or something similar. :)

Good choice of machine for an experiment though. Good multiplayer and not the most valuable game if it gets beat up.

I'm sure you're right. It won't be a big loss if it gets beat up. I don't have much into this game. Its not my favorite and I'm glad to have the free space at home now for another cabinet.

You should put a sign or sticker on it to say thats it's employee owned. Hopefully people won't abuse it as bad if they know that.

Take it one step further -- humanize it. "This machine is proudly provided by Foo Bar in department XYZ".

I put a couple of games in our break-room too. I've had them in there for about two years now and they get played quite a bit. I used a couple of old JAMM cabs that I had sitting around so it wouldn't bother me if they got messed with. The one on the left has Ms. Pac/Galaga on the other one is a Skull and Crossbones. I swap the boards out from time to time, I just switched in the Scull and Crossbones from KLAX a few weeks ago. So far no one has done anything bad to them and I've had no problems. PLUS I can go play a game when I need a break too.

I agree, do this!

I brought a pin to an expo once and many people that played it and I talked to, strangers, said collectors own these machines? I did not know that!

I guess many thought it was like when the circus comes to town and brings all the animals.

This is a great idea. I'll do this for sure. I need to put my contact somewhere so people can feel free to call me if the game is not working quite right anyways. I'll create a board and put it above the marquee.

Man, I would kill to be able to do that...we have a fairly large breakroom now that would easily support it...but I know they'd either leave it on all the time and burn the screen or it would get damaged...and I'm about to be down to 1 pin and the big blue, and neither one is leaving my house!
