Use the exidy guide, your own wisdom or whatever you want. Price police it to death and come up with a figure I can chew on. Everything I have listed in my signature is restored or in the process of being restored well beyond a splash of windex and some new artwork so keep that in mind.

Btw, there is another journey machine and a warlords cocktail that I haven't listed in my signature. No need to speculate, I'm just looking for a new toy, a new hobby and a new house with insane amounts of above and below garage space

9700-10000 I didn't really add it up right. I personally would like to get em all for 100. :D

Let me make it easy for you. I want all of the following:

Tempest, Dig Dug, Centipede/Millipede,FoodFight, QBertMs. PacmanTron, Bud Tapper, TimberPaperboy, Ice Cold Beer

I hate to be the one to tell you but your collection is no good, all the games listed above are worth around $100.00. So let me just take that junk off your hands, do we have a deal. HA HA only kidding. You have a nice collection going, just ballpark throwing a number out maybe around $10,000 ish. I think pictures would help us to decide each games value. wink wink

For those looking to price this collection, think high. The games are gorgeous. I would have no problem selling off a couple of the games in my collection in order to pick up from yours. The ICB would be #1... then Star Wars, Burgertime, Tapper, Qbert, ... ... ...

How funny! We posted at the same time and pretty much said the same thing. From one GG to another, your not so bad ;).

I'd say 10k is way low. That's just over $400 per machine and some of those are pretty high-end items. Of course you will get less if you sell them in a bulk deal. But if you sell them one by one I would think you would get much more than 10k. And it sounds like they are in premium condition too.

Bulk you always get less and that's what I was referring to. Selling one off at a time would be his best bet.

I think 10K is too low unless these were going in a bulk deal and needed to sell quickly

Considering the quality of these games and if you sold them individually to the right buyer:

Tempest $800
Dig Dug $500
Centipede/Millipede $800
Star Wars $1200
FoodFight $1000
QBert $900
Multi Williams $1200
Galaga $800
Ms. Pacman $750
Burgertime $1200
Tron $1000
Bud Tapper $1400
Timber $1200
Journey $1600
DK $900
DK jr. $800
Paperboy $1200
Ice Cold Beer $1000
Major Havoc(Dedicated) $4500
Demo Derby 4 player $1200
Wacko $700
Death Race $1300

That's $25,950

Post some pictures as some people don't realize the quality of the restores that were done to these. These would take time to move at these prices so a quicker sell would lower the price point.

Please tell me who this buyer is so I can sell my restored Burgertime for $1200...

Your prices are WAY high. What economy are you in? Bud Tapper for $1400??? Even restored you would be lucky to break a grand

To keep things simple, let's assume there is nobody that has the cash to buyem all in one shot. Many of my restos can be found here and over at coinopspace otherwise input from those that have seen my games may help.

I dont normally post comments about thing like this, but if you or anyone you know are paying prices like that please let me know. I know I said my personal machines are not for sale, but if I can get those prices I'll sell any of them. Most my games aren't restored, but in close to or are in mint original condition which should be worth the same or more. I live in right here in VA. http://www.flickr.com/photos/djdns/sets/72157623235536193/

P.S. I did not post this comment to take away from Chris's thread. Just needed to make that clear before someone jumps the gun here. I let Chris know I would be interested in some of his games as well.

Purely speculation,

I would put the value on the lot somewhere in the area of $15,000 – $18,000. Sold separately to the right people, I wouldn't be surprised to see you get a few thousand more.

I'll play...

Tempest $450
Dig Dug $350
Centipede/Millipede $400
Star Wars $600
FoodFight $500
QBert $400
Multi Williams $500
Galaga $450
Ms. Pacman $450
Burgertime $450
Tron $600
Bud Tapper $650
Timber $650
Journey, $800
DK $450
DK jr. $350
Paperboy $450
Ice Cold Beer $500
Major Havoc(Dedicated) $2500
Demo Derby 4 player $250
Wacko $400
Death Race $800
Warlords Cocktail $600

Just my opinion, and I am not sure why you are asking us this... :) Prices are all based on my gut and what I have seen these sell for and what I have bought games for. Assuming they are in good working condition. So, yeah... somewhere around $10k seems about right. I am sure you could make more on some of the games if you sold them on Ebay and to non-Klov-collectors.

You guys aren't including the other Journey and Warlords cocktail he mentioned.

EDIT: Oh wait, I see the warlords up there now.

I'll throw one out there-

$15K

I came up with a quickie of $10K and then saw the quick responses that these are 'real nice'.

That $4500 estimate for the Major Havok sounds pretty strong. I have lots of faith that there are plenty of people with more money than brains out there. You just have to find one of them to spend that kind of money on a game.

Lots of places you could walk away with 10 decent games off of that list for $4500.

Value is always such a subjective thing. I've got nothing particularly rare in my 'collection' and nothing really pristine either. Lots of it I'll hang onto just because I value it more than someone else does.

Why the request for the value? Insurance? Potential sale? Just bragging? ;-)

Yes, this is on the high end, and like I said, you would need to find the right buyer and be willing to sit on the game for a long time (perhaps a few years). There are discriminating buyers out there that want grail (to them) games in mint condition.

You said if you could get more by parting them out then you would. Have at it.

Really dave? You mean you aren't gonna be the first one to step up and buy my collection in the name of preservation? It's sad to see you climbing off the crusade horse. As I told you before my dear it isn't about the money, I'm heir to a large real estate fortune. Back on topic people and no pm's please.
