Hi,

I have a pair of daytona usa twins I need to pick up on Sunday. I was going to break them down into the 3 pcs. Will my friend and I be able to push one unit on its on wheels up a 12 ft penske truck ramp?

Hope you can help,
Mark

I've done it. It's not easy. The whole problem is they like to topple to the side. So you kind of need somebody strong enough to push it up the ramp, and somebody to stand beside it and make sure it doesn't fall off the side of the ramp.

No it was easier coming off you can just get one person to stand on each side of the ramp and let gravity do it's thing. You can do it man but three people would work a lot better I think.

Lyons...thanks so much for your advice man. I will give it ago and let yall know how it went.

Thanks again,

My issue getting regular sized cabs was traction when I tried to use a u-haul. As soon as the game hits ramp, the weight kills the traction you had.

I prefer the large u-haul trailers for big stuff.

I only rent moving trucks with lift gates anymore... you have to look harder to find the places that rent them, but they're not much more expensive. Rail gates are even better, but harder to find.

Are the two monitor cabinets one piece or two? If they are anything like my Mario Karts it shouldn't be all that hard to load up. I was able to help push them up a Uhaul loading ramp while a guy friend of mine pulled them up on a dolly.

If you need help, use pulleys. Build a block and tackle.

I built one and was able to pull a complete Tempest cab up two flights of stairs, solo.

This is not really what you asked. Not sure if they will fit on the ramp but make sure you strap them well. They are very top heavy. I picked up a Daytona 2 twin. I fastened them from moving side to side and back/front but I noticed when I got home one tipped and was leaning on the other. Only minor plastic damage. I thought I had them strapped down well, not good enough I guess.

I used a enclosed cargo trailer with a ramp.

Hi,

Thanks for the help, we were able to pay $30 more for a lift gate. I really dont think we needed it though they are not that bad to move. A ramp would work with 2 folks imo. The only issue is what yall are talking about , top heavy. They even wanted to flip off the lift gate if you did not brace them :/
