So i finally got a punch out, i brought it home and i turned it on and the screens had nothing on them but on the top screen you could sorta see who you were boxing and against and on the bootom screen you could see the rops for the boxing ring but you could barely see these on both screen so i turned the sound up and you could hear this humming noise coming from it so i though ok ill let it set there for awhile and warm up since it hasnt been played in 3 or 4 yrs so i did that and still nothing so i turned it off and unplugged it took the back off it and took a look at the pcb boards everything looked fine plugged it back in and it turned on and worked great the screens werer working but the tops of both screens slanted to the left and you could barely make out the top screen but the botton screen was goos except for the top it was also slanting to the left, i tried to adjust them but nothing worked. So later on that day i went back to play the game turned it ON and the humming was back i did everything i did before couldnt get the humming to go away so im thinking now the tubes are back in both screen or something else is wrong, someone please help with this, i dont want to get rid of this game because of something stupid.

monitors work fine one time but not the next? sounds like your problem could be coming off the PCB and not the monitors. Something worth while would be to pull the pcb, take out and re-seat ALL chips on all 3 boards. given its age, 86redtent would be right, a cap kit couldn't hurt. the humming may be the audio board requiring a cap kit. IF ALL ELSE FAILS, there are some knowledgable members on these boards that charge a reasonable fee to troubleshoot and if necessary, repair your PCB.

the audio works when the game starts but if its humming thers no audio and the screens are not right.

Heres a picture of it at this point it worked fine, this was after i took the boards out and made sure all the chips were in. But the next time i turned it on it started to mess up again.

Did you not read the part about "screens were working but the tops of both screens slanted to the left" Both monitors have foldover and a deluxe cap kit should take care of most of the problems. Then try to correct any board problem after you can see what is going on
