Punch-Out!!

Did you end up putting a switcher in there for it? I have a Nintendo power supply in mine and the "extra wires" on those harnesses you may be referring to just dead end at the power supply. The power supply plugs actually have very few pins in them. Kinda wierd, but it works. The buttons are expensive. I still had the metal brackets and switches for the Playchoice but the buttons were shot. I enlarged the holes slightly to use standard buttons.

You whipped that thing into shape quick. - barry

Anyone ever notice the flyer for Punch Out shows the challenger as a blonde (in the upper monitor portrait? I wonder who/when they decided to go with green?

I've wondered about the blonde hair and yellow gloves in the portrait myself. I think the images on the monitors may be partially screenshots from the game and partially artist renditions. Bald Bull on the bottom monitor of the first flyer you posted looks "off" compared to the actual graphics of the game too. I suppose it could just be a pre-release version of the game.

Either way, those monitors depict impossible gameplay situations. Not only does the right-hand picture show a portrait of Bald Bull when the fight is against Glass Joe, but both pictures show 3:00 on the clock, meaning the fight has just started, and not even a "Nintendo second" (shorter than a real second) has elapsed yet. However, the KO meter is partially full on one of the pictures, and completely full on the other, which takes time to accomplish.

Another problem with those screenshots is that it doesn't show Bald Bull's name under his portrait like it is supposed to.

(by the way.... who's that guy in the corner? I've not played this game enough to know if he's there in the US version or not).

He's the referee. You see him briefly at the start of each fight.

How the hell do you have a small child and have time to crank out restores this fast?!?! Please share your secret.

Oh, and the cab looks great.

First of all, looks awesome! Second, Mike usually will sell just a button or two if you ask, but don't waste your money. They are just normal orange buttons milled down a little. Buy a couple of nice used Nintendo buttons instead, you'll be happier.
