Punch Out! vs. Super Punch Out!

Way easier

Way easier to swap board in a Super PO..

If you put your Super PO board in to a regular PO you won't have the "duck down" option on the game..

If you put your PO into a Super PO machine you won't need the duck down but the game plays fine...

I would put both in a Super PO...if it was me..

Good Luck!

Unfortunately I don't have a Super, I only have a regular PO that I am getting in the next month. This is very good information though. I didn't know about the Joystick.
Does the CP artwork look any different?
Which game did you like better, SPO or PO?

Only difference in cabs is the marquee, the added "Super" sideart stickers above the punchout stickers, the pull-up joystick, and the small "duck" sticker on the cpo surrounding the joystick. Oh, and the flux capacitor, but that was only in the proto-cabs.

I have PO, SPO, and arm wrestling in mine. SPO is quicker paced and gets the slight edge but PO holds its own.

Once you play Super, regular Punch Out seems old, slow, and outdated. Its a much more fun game, and visually more appealing. Plus KO times is a real cool addition.

I felt this way at first. But play PO enough again without interuption and you tend to forget all about the difference in speed.
