Hi,

I have a Punch out PCB that has sync issues. While lifting the CPU board in order to debug, I noticed some kind of hack. The RP2A03E (yes, it's version E, not the original one that has no revision) is connected to the memory 6116. Anyone has seen this before and/or has an idea of what this fixes ?

The bottom is normal, factory mod for -01 cpu pcb. The top I've never seen, but it is probably to fix a trace. 2a03 version doesn't matter.

Thanks Mike. The wires are the same size and color so if the bottom one was done at the factory, the other one must have been. too.

Lol, on my phone it looked like a red wire on the top in that 2nd picture! Looking closer I now see it is your arrow in red!

Right, the bottom jumpers are all factory.
