Punch-Out PROMs - Can't figure out if White or Pink

I'm not sure if I need White or Pink PROMs to fix the colors on my Punch-Out PCB.

6E, 6F, and 7F say N82S131N K8339
7E, 8E, and 8F say N82S131N K8337

Do I need Pink or White? My board set is an 01 set.

I'm not sure what you mean by white or pink proms,
but to find out which type you need,
you need to look at the address decoders at 7J, 7K 8J & 8K

The "standard" config used 74LS353 decoders.

However LS353 became hard to find,
so some boards have LS153 instead , which are identical except that they do NOT invert the bits.

So "reverse" proms are needed in that case. (Confused yet... ? )

So you need to know what kind of chip you have at 7J, 7K 8J & 8K.

The standard is 74LS353 and uses "normal" proms,
and LS153 need "reverse" proms .

I can provide the proms or proper files if you can burn them yourself.

Cheers,
Steph
