Punch Out Missing Blue on both monitors

When the proms were swapped around and the green proms put into the blue sockets, it did not generate green.
That means your blue PROMs are bad.

The PROMs themselves don't know what color they are... they're just used to control the circuitry behind them. So when you put the (good) "green" PROM in the "blue" PROM socket, you got blue because the rest of the circuity is fine. When you put the (bad) "blue" PROM in the "green" PROM socket, you lost green because the (bad) "blue" PROM wasn't telling the green circuitry to draw anything.

While this is a good troubleshooting test, note that you have to replace it with the correct PROM (they're programmed), or the colors won't look correct. And note that there are both "pink" and "white" label PROMs... you need to make sure you get that correct as well.

@steph from HobbyRoms should be able to burn you the PROMs that you need (also from Canada).

When I put the "green" proms in the blue socket, I did not get any color generated. There was no green produced. When I put the "blue" proms in the green sockets I was able to get blue on both monitors. Which I think means the "blue" proms are working. Is that not correct? When I put the "green" proms back into the green sockets I was able to get green again and when I put the "blue" proms back into the blue sockets I did not get blue generated on the monitors, there where all the other colors except blue. Sorry if I am wording this incorrectly and causing confusion. Maybe I'll just order the blue proms to see if that fixes problem or eliminates the proms being the problem. This is currently what I am getting.

The proms are placed in a circuit to generate a color, the prom itself doesn't create the color. You swapped good proms into the blue circuit and it started working and you swapped bad proms into the green circuit which caused it to not work.

Now I understand what DogP meant once I read his post again and what you said gutz. I'll contact Steph at hobbyroms and order new blue proms. Thanks for your patience with me slowly understanding what you were all trying to convey to me :)

That was what I was also trying to say initially, in my post #13. Just glad you're on a forward path, now!
