If I had a PlayCHoice that used to be a Punch Out, but decided to put BACK the Punch Out board, there is no special wiring needed, correct? I I just hooked up the one connector on this PCB and got nothing recently in 2 separate dual screen cabinets that both used to be Punch Out.

Strange. They use the same Power Supplies and Transformers. I thought the wiring was the same, too. I have a Dedicated PC-10 Dual and I can run both PO and Arm Wrestling, with no modifications.

However, I see your point. You are wondering if it was an original PO, would the switch be the same. As far as I'm aware, you shouldn't have an issue. Should be the same.

Anyone else verify?

Do you have power? Is the pcb still working? Are there any mods to the wiring? Did you verify the pinouts?

Just a few questions that come to mind.

I recently converted a PC10 to a Punchout. No issues at all.

Yeah, the PLayChoice works when I go back to them, the board gets nothing, one cabinet had the "bell" sound. Just making sure because it was an eBay purchase that I had to send back.

I don't know if this would make a difference, but i remember reading somewhere that to convert a Punch-Out!! to a PlayChoice one of the steps was removing 3 capacitors from the filter board and that if you didn't do this the PlayChoice wouldn't work if the filterboard was in place. Try bypassing the filter board with the Punch-Out PCB....i doubt it will work, but it will only take a minute to try next time you're trying to get it to work.

I didn't use anything except the regular harness, but if people have gotten it to work without that, the PCB has the issue.

I'm not sure exatly what you mean. The wording of your last post confused me a bit.

For clarification of my earlier post here is a link to what i was talking about with the FCC filter board - it's on page 11.

EDIT: I just thought that i should mention that i'm still a complete "noob" so take anything "technical" more as 'ideas to research' rather than 'things that WILL help your situation for sure'.

i boot a pc-10 dual monitor in my PO all the time with no problems, the difference though is in the control panel wiring, and possibly the coin wiring as well.
