Punch Out!! Front Screen Available

As some of you may know, I have been trying to get a front screen for my Punch Out!! for some time now. I connected today with a guy that will make them for me. Unfortunately for me, here's the catch. He will only make it if I place an order for 10 or more. Because of the unique 10 degree bend in the plexi, he has to buy a machine that bends it. He says that he has wanted to buy the machine for some time and an order of 10 will give him the motivation to do it.

Here's the bonus, his company does laser cutting. He says that the blacked out border around the edge of the frame that the original front glass has is no problem. His charge is only $60 for the reproduction glass with the bend and the original blacked out border. I think it's a great opportunity if you don't have a nice front glass or just want to refresh an old one. He's going to do it in light gray smoke.

Let me know if you're interested in one of these by PM. I'll keep a list. When I get to 10 I'll PM you back and we can arrange a way for you to send me the money so I can place the order. It will take two to three weeks from the time I place the order until they are ready because he has to buy the machine and the 3/16 thick plexi is an odd size. If your local to Peabody, MA we can arrange a pickup spot. If not, he'll ship them safely wrapped for $20.

It would be a lot if it were just a piece of plexi that was cut to size. It's a piece of 3/16 plexi with a 10 degree bend between the two screens with the original dimension black border around the edge. I just paid $35 for a piece of 1/8 plexi 24"x24" for the back of my Pole Position cockpit. This is $60 local. Shipping for the oversized piece and packed safely is the variable. We figured $20 just to be safe.

I'm not sure if it's the same as Playchoice. Someone else here might know. Punch Out is a dual monitor.

It's the same of course as Punch Out and Play Choice and Arm Wrestling. Same cab. There was a glass kit that came out as well, but if your cabinet has the plastic this will fit it.

Mike, I need to get an order of 10 before the fabricator will build them. He needs to buy the machine to bend the glass and won't do it for one unit and I'm not buying 10 and trying to sell them later. There's nothing in this for me except the ability to buy one for my machine. I hate doing this but I've run out of options trying to get one of these by any other method.

I did get Appolo. Thanks for the tip. He says it's in decent shape and not sure if it's scratch free. Wants $25 for it. Not bad....but for $35 more, I get a brand new one. I've got 3 guys and myself so far. If I get a few more I'll buy the rest and try to make a few bucks on Ebay with them.

It would be great if I could get a list of all the games this screen fits.

Thanks guys. There's got to be 10 people out there that need front screens for these. I'll give it a few more days here then I may take a shot at it on Ebay. Frankly I'd rather just get 10 people here and be done with it. I'm not much of a speculator!
