My Punch Out was a kit and has a nice CP, but it is the type that came with individual stickers for each control area. I am missing the KO button sticker. Anyone got one of these? I really don't need to replace the entire CPO since it's in good shape. Thought I'd give it a try... you crazy !@#'s have all kinds of stuff packed away! :)

thanks

Cpo

Here is a picture of the CPO. It looks good and works great, but I'd like to get that 1 missing sticker that should go around the KN button. Packrats where are you?!? :)

I am pretty sure that there is a hacked up CPO...

They probably did it due to cig marks or something. Not sure...

Thats just the original CPO all cut up. Buy a repro from quarterarcade.com

kits

I have seen kits just like this for Golden tee machines. They have the Grass CPO background and then you apply the stickers over the top for the area around the buttons.

The only thing that is bad about it are the slight ridges around the stickers. Now why would an operator spend the time to cut up a new CPO??? I don't think they would... that's why I believe it was a kit.

Anyone else got one like this? ...and oh quit your whining!

That SCREAMS hacked CPO. Look at the DODGE LEFT and RIGHT... sticker or part of the area above it? Looks like it was cut across and then around the dodge left and right. Also, look at the left and right punch...if they were "stickers", why is the bottom of the circle cut off?

Golden Tee is a 90's game... Punch Out is 1984. In 1984 "kits" weren't popular, especially for a game that REQUIRES a nintendo dual monitor setup.

No whining... just reality... which is that you have a hacked up CPO there.

Good luck finding that sticker. You might want to try to find the scanned or vecotorized artwork and prints up some.

Or do the right thing and just replace it with a proper CPO.

BTW: That kind of stuff was common back in the day when part of the CPO got damaged...like the front edge, etc...

It doesn't matter what you believe, you are wrong. That CPO is hacked to shit, and if you like your games looking like that leave it. The right thing to do is spend the $50 to buy a new CPO (the correct and only way they came) and replace it. I'll keep "whining" as long as you keep being lazy.

wow

Did I strike a nerve?

I was just asking a simple question. I can replace the CPOs on all my machines no problem, but I thought I might get by a little cheap for the Winter and replace it next year or so. :001_ssuprised:$45 isn't bad for a new one but I wish it was more like $30.

I am almost never lazy BTW. Keep the personal comments to yourself.

The op didn't cut up a new CPO, somebody just cut off the bad parts of the CPO to make it look cleaner.

They even painted the bolts black by the KO button where the artwork used to be. Also looks like the border around the "Guard Down" decal and the bottom part of the "Left Blow" and "Right Blow" decals have been painted black to to hide the white grid-line art from the CPO. I bet if you look close enough, you'll see that's exactly right.

Buy a new CPO and be merry this Christmas!

It appears that you're the only one getting upset here bro. Relax. I am sure we're all sorry that you didn't get the answer you were looking for. Again, if you want to do what you're looking to do, shoot me your email address. I have access to the Punch Out CPO artwork in high-resolution... you can then print it out, cut it up, then glue it down if you'd like.

No.

My first reply was that you should just buy a new CPO, and you answer with "quit whining". I was just giving my opinion by telling you that what you have there didn't look good, that's all.

Here....
