Hey guys! I have been on this forum for quite some time for arcade machines. I am brand new to pinballs and have no clue how to purchase one. I love Pulp Fiction and would love to buy the Bad Mother Flipper edition. I just need some purchase advise. Who are reputable dealers? Is there anyone here on the forum who is a dealer? Are the prices for a new machine fixed? Thanks!

I have a couple of friends that have had great experiences with Pinballs.com - One of their reps, Becky specifically, was great in purchasing a pin from them I hear. They are located in Milford, CT and I've had a friend from NH make the 4 hour drive to get a game from them. So that speaks volumes. (They also offer free shipping BTW).

I'm pretty sure everything is retail, but pin prices have come down as of late. So, YMMV. I've seen people get stuff under retail on new pins that were unboxed at pinball shows (Allentown Pinfest for example). There's a little wiggle room there, so I'd ask them.

Good Luck!

Del

Buy one used
You can pick up the bad mother flipper edition for @$8k with low plays if you look around a little
Why pay $9500.
Pinside is a good place to look
One was listed there not too long ago for $7500

Welcome to the pinball side! 😄 The Pulp Fiction BMF is a great choice. Prices are usually fixed, but check trusted dealers like Flip N Out, PinballSTAR, or Game Room Guys, all solid folks to buy from.

I would buy one used. My wife and I bought our first 2 brand new. Still love them and won't ever sell them… but they go up for sale after a couple months to a year, and the savings can be real NICE. We'll buy a used one when we're read to pull the trigger again.

Thanks! You plan on buying a Pulp Fiction? What two did you buy brand new?
We bought CGC Cactus Canyon SE and 2 years later bought a Jurassic Park Premium. I have NOT played Pulp Fiction yet, but will get to it eventually. We first played Cactus Canyon at the Garcade here in WI, and my wife didn't like it at first because she thought the guns would be too distracting. After going back to play it several times, she fell in love with it, (as did I the first time I played it… love the theme, ruleset is great for beginners and the lighting is fantastic) and I made arrangements to buy one and surprised her before Christmas. One of the tech's at the Garcade told us about the unmistakable craftsmanship of Chicago Gaming Companies machines. He said they're simply JUST BUILT BETTER than say a STERN. We've had ZERO issues with our JPP and it's much faster and complex vs. CC. I honestly don't know what PIN I would buy next. My wife LOVEs, loves, loves, Monster Bash, but those don't come up for sale very often, and when they do, they AIN'T cheap. Best of luck with your search. Love pinball !!!
