I am in the process of restoring an Aliens game. While taking off the formica on the sides I found this....
Since it is a Williams cab, I was expecting to see Defender.
However, it looks like this is a sticker over top of some great artwork.
I wonder if it is the same as this game.....? Fast Draw?

Anyone heard of it?

Ah, interesting. So it was originally a Defender and then converted to a Fast Draw Poker game and then to an Aliens. Hmmmmm.
Is Defender considered a "Classic"? Or are there a ton of these cabs out there?

No, it's this one:

defender is a classic but there are a lot of them out there. I have two and know a number of people who have defenders. I'm not condoning anyone destroying or parting a defender but since your cab has been at least twice converted I think it's fair game to make it a nice version of whatever you want. although it'a always cool when anyone returns a classic to it's original form.

Yeah it would be a shame to mess up the Defender artwork on the cab. I bet once I pull off the rest of the sticker, it will be in nice shape.
However I did get it for an Aliens game, which is hardly a classic.
I was going to paint the cab sides black, but maybe I will look at other options to save the artwork in case someday I want a Defender.

If you ever want to make it a defender again, prOk sells defender stencils so you can repaint the original artwork.
