Pulled the trigger and bot 25" lcd for $149 shipped

Hi,

Just figured I'd post what i finally bot for the 25" hantarex polo replacement that has been driving me nuts trying to fix.
So I will be selling both the hantarex polo chassis and a new wei ya chassis.

I just ordered a 25" lcd from geeks.com for $149 with free shipping.
Model 25 I-Inc iH252HPB Dual HDMI Blu-ray 1080p Widescreen LCD
Link:http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=IH252HPB-PB-R&cat=MON

They also added a multi-bit ratcheting screwdriver as part of their daily sales email incentive.

I was trying to get a 16:10 but can't beat the price for this.

I am putting it into a cabinet that started as an nba, then tekken 3.

I am keeping the tekken and adding a xxxx in 1 setup. The width of the cabinet was the only thing that stopped me from getting the 28" that has 13:10. I may get it for another cabinet I have.

I also got the adapter from Jamma boards.

Will post when I get it set up.

LCD Update in XXXX in 1 Cab...

I got the monitor delivered over the weekend and installed it using the existing monitor frame and some metal brackets from Home Depot.

I measured the cabinet, went to Home Depot, and picked up 4 metal joiners to use as mounts for the lcd.

Got home, measured the holes and spacing for the lcd, then drilled holes and mounted the brackets. LCD slides right in and is secure, easy to get in and out.

I got some removable plastic tinting for the glass and it looks great - this will do for now and doesn't need a new bezel yet.

Connected to the xxxx in 1 directly via the vga port (note: you have to remove the connector on the lower board on the xxxx, connect the vga cable, and select vga output using the attached menu board).

I put the xxx in 1, atx power on the shelf that held the chassis.

Sizing is automatic, plugged everything into one power strip.
Everything turns on/off via one plug. This monitor can detect a source and powers on and off automatically - cool.

Looks and plays great!
