Any idea what one is worth? And what to look out for in terms of bootlegs....

Are you talking about a Namco Puckman?

If so they are expensive, like $1,000 expensive. I have been offered that for the pcb in my Namco Puckman table but I wouldn't break it.

You are from New York, then I'm going to say you likely have a bootleg. The Namco version just wasn't necessary to come over to the States with the amount of Midway and bootleg boards. The only people who would be interested in an original Puckman board would be a few devs and small group of collectors.

Didn't get a picture of the board, it was in a crappy old cabinet that was for sale. Worked well and they wanted about $400 which is pretty good if legit..

This is my original PUCK-MAN

Is there any way to be able to tell if the board is an original Namco Puckman board?
On a cocktail table, would the artwork (directions) be in English?

am I seeing right and Puck-Man is 2 boards with interconnect cables? wasn't Midway trying to do the same exact thing and wound up making it one big board?

Old thread but I'll post this to centralize information. We've had a Honly Puckman cocktail in our attic since 1982. Here's a picture of the PCB, as well as an overview of the interior and exterior. There are several differences from Pacman, including a slightly different maze, ghost behavior, and the fruit levels.
