So there's a guy selling a Puck Man cocktail. I guess it was in a strip club in the 80s and eventually got moved out. If he had some pictures of 80s strippers playing this damn game I would buy it, and the pictures right away. That would be awesome.

It: "worked for a while, then they moved it and it stopped working."

He's asking $200.

I was thinking about talking him down. But I don't know if it's really worth it. The table looks to be in good condition, but if it's fully broken, maybe not worth the effort.

Without seeing the control panel, can you tell what it might be worth?

It's a good story anyway.

I might buy it for $200, shoot me his info if you're willing as long as it doesn't smell like anything.

It probably smells like...you'll know when you're older.

But when you take your Dad to go pick it up don't be surprised if he dissappears and leaves you outside for hours.

So I can't get pictures of the control panel because "he's not near it right now." But he says it's black with asian writing.

That means it's a knock-off, right? As in, it's nothing special?

I meant more that it doesn't even have Puck Man on the CPO. Which means it's probably a knock-off.

(Someone needed to supply the "whatever".)

Looks a lot like the "puckman" I bought last year. Had to rebuild a control panel as it was lost and install a replacement power supply. Recapped Sanyo and new sound roms from Steph and all is good. Not anything in the way of documentation. Mine was a two-board Puckman pinout; seems the ghost have their asian names as well, have to boot it up and play a few games. I would agree 200 seems high for non-working and unknown condition tho.

Dead bootleg puckman in the least desirable of all cocktail cabinet styles (13" school desk style with vertical control panels). I would say something in the $50-$75 range. $100 if you REALLY wanted it.

Yeah, I think you're dead on.
