So I was on craigslist looking for some cabinets, and I saw this Pucman game for 200. Not that ill buy it, but I thought it was a neat bootleg.

I like the cabinet, it still has those cool oversized start buttons and the owl eye coin door from Super Breakout.

Wish it was local, I'd put a different game in the cabinet though.

Kyle

I beg to differ. If they listed that turd at $200 then they will take $150. Train wrecks like that are pretty good part out opportunities because you don't even have to feel guilty about doing it.

Now I consider any painted over and converted black and white game to be a goner already. People part out or trash dedicated working ones rather than try to repair them, so it certainly wouldn't make any sense to build one back up from nothing.

The owl eye coin door on it alone will bring $100 if cleaned, polished and repainted.

That puts you at $50 out of pocket.

Monitor needs a cap kit, $10. Puts you at $60 out of pocket.

Recapped monitors bring $125 easily these days (often more). Puts you at +$65.

That wico joystick will bring an easy $15 ($25 if nice). You are now at +$80

That Hanglyman board and harness would probably sell in a few hours for $50. Now at +$130.

Those jumbo atari start buttons, probably $10 each. Now at +$150.

Now you can give the cabinet away to a mamer, cut a new front without a coin door and use it for a project, whatever you want to do.

Wow... That's just Hangly Man with a monitor problem. Not worth it.
