graphics to rival PS3 fuck yes!!! Dual analog sticks and Oled Screen. Def gettin one when it comes out.
Also, am I the only one that hated the functionality and the location of the PSP's nub stick thingie? Now with two where they are, it's only going to be even more difficult to hold for long periods of time, imo.
At the moment, I have no plans to look into getting one, but who knows - that could change.

I do agree that I'm afraid of pricing. I mean I'm already dying for one but price I'm sure is going to be a deterrent. The PS3 started at $600 and is now at $300 so I might wait it out on this and see where it goes.

I would say Three hundo will be the price point it cannot cost more than the PS3 if it does it will struggle. They will have to sell them at a loss and make up the difference over time like PS3 Im sure Sony has learned from the PS3 stumbling out of the starting gate at 600. If its 300 range I will get one of these over the 3ds. Im tired of playing the same n64 and gamecube games over and over and over again even if its 3d the cheap bastards need new games.

So 300 is too much for a portable PS3? and 250 is the sweet spot for a portable gamecube?

Nah I mean shit ill buy it for 300 (didnt mean it like that in that first post). But im saying a lot of people are gonna whine. I feel the 250 for the ds is justified because its 3d and now theres gonna be movies, as well as a marketplace like the wii (Maybe the dsi has this idk I have a ds lite). So im gonna say its a portable wii.

I was a big sony fan growing up, never had a nes or snes. always had a playstation and ps2 and dreamcast and numerous psps, however I just kinda felt there wasnt to many console exclusives (FF was the main thing for me growing up) and switched to xbox because of the online play with friends. Nintendo is recently popular with me, I own a nes/snes/gamecube/ds/64 etc.
Anyways its not a debate on whats right or wrong but im just saying people will whine.

I think both are going to be over priced, but hey, that's because I don't have all the money I did a few years back.
I bought a DS, DS Lite, DSi and PSP all within a few months of their release. Working at a game store, living with my parents, very low rent, and having no debts or other expenses helped that... they should have just paid me in store credit, lol...
I heard theres going to be an exclusive Call of duty and uncharted! thats exciting to me
idk why you guys are debating rather the DS or the PSP 2 will be better. I think we should just be praying that the both are awesome. I'm worried that the 3D might ruin the DS (if its gimmicky or give me a headache) and all that extra shit on the PSP 2 might over complicate things (also can be gimmicky). Either way, I'm gonna buy them both and find out for myself. I try not to be a fan boy when it comes to these things.

I dont understand the Ipad either my sister bought the expensive one I personally would have bought a nice laptop.
I'm not a hater I was excited for 3ds until I saw the specs for the new psp. I'm just hoping we get some metal gear love around or shortly after launch a new title not a port ;-). Also lets hope it has a video out so we can play on our hdtv's that would be money.

I never upgraded mine to a newer model. I like the UMD caddy on the original PSP.
I'll end up getting both the NGP and the 3DS. I buy them all.
