anyone pick up the new tron for their 360/ps3? usually movie games dont turn out that good but im sure someone here had to have bought it

The game is a bomb. It was panned in the press, and the development studio that made it was shut down by Disney last week. There was an article about it in the LA Times last week.

I was given a copy of the PSP version, and I stopped playing it after one bus ride.

Please note that he said "is a bomb," and not "is the bomb." :)

Average at best...pretty bland level design and repetitive combat. The different disc types mixed it up but wasn't enough given the amount of fighting you do. If your a huge fan of Tron and can find it for $20...I'd say at least try it. But it's by no means a AAA title.

The controllers on the other hand, are pretty awesome. It's a shame they're wired (for 360 at least) but the buttons and sticks have a nice feel and rubber grips feel much better than the official controller plastic. Been using it over my wireless controller in my downstairs setup.

last week some DLC showed up on the ps store, hmm maybe i should give it a second look?

oh well ill skip it

I only enjoyed it because I am a big Tron fan. It was a very generic game and really could have been any theme besides Tron.

I second that. I mean it plays alright but of Tron or CoD: Black Ops, Black Ops lives in my PS3 right now and Tron only comes over for a weekend vacation once a year. Again, alright game play but nothing to die for. Buy it used, try it out, and hope that you like it.
