I popped in an old baseball game for my PS2 yesterday. I ended up winning the game, but as the stats rolled .. The names weren't the same. Played again, and the names of the pitchers were totally different from the ones I used. I think the game needs cleaned or something. Any idea what the hell is going on?

Was it ESPN Baseball? I had that game bug out on me and eventually just quit working. Some weird things like some of the trophies were dated normal like 04/25/2003 and others had dates like 63/5/3152 or something.

I don't think cleaning the game is going to make a difference.

My copy of ESPN eventually wouldn't load, so I do not know what was up with that. Its save games got corrupted too. Its too bad, I really liked playing that game. Oh trade for Fernando Tatis and Rocco Baldelli in that one, they are HR kings!

I was recently thinking of picking it up again actually.
