Rise from the grave!!!!!!!!!!!!!

alright guys, well i had big plans on working on the SW right away but it set and set and set, and then life stepped in. Wife and I had a baby, (now another on the way) and we got a new house built, so needless to say this project totally went on the back burner.

Anyways finally getting caught up i feel and been seriousely ready to dig into this project. However i pretty much forget everything i researched years ago when i got this thing and just looking for any tips and guidance on this feet.

My first question is this>

1. Where should i start with this? I never even plugged in the machine with fear of damaging something even more. One mentioned trying a new fuse and see what it does. What size fuse and where can i get one.

2. I think the power cord is a little ratty, anyone have any links of a decent one that will work with this machine?

Sorry im still a newbie (ive done a few successful cap kits) but with an amp machine like this it is all new.

Bob Roberts (therealbobroberts.net) sells premade Atari power cords on his site. You'll have to look for them. Fuses are on the power birck and are marked to the value. Radio shack probably does not have them so order a set of power brick fuses from Bob at the same time.

Oh yeah, send your amp boards to arcrevival to rebuild them so they will be set to go. Then you can plug them back in and power it up and see if it works. Spend a little money now for piece of mind and you won't regret it. If you want to learn how to fix it yourself, that's fine but I wouldn't recommend a Star Wars as a first project. Just my 2 cents.
