So ... many of you read about the warehouse find I posted last weekend.

Well ... got around to digging in the cabinets today and found something interesting.

This cabinet looks like a Midway cabinet at first glance, but it is built differently (notice the blocking on top of the cabinet). Also, the wood is thinner and of higher quality than your standard Midway cabinet.

And it had this weird experimental sticker on it ... anyone know anything about this cabinet?

By the way, it houses the game Scramble and was without a marquee when I grabbed it.

Thanks in advance for any info you might have ...

looks like the same cab I picked up the uni war S in for braido a year or so back.

Is it really really heavy compared to a pac cab? The one I picked up had a k 4600 in it.

It's a knock off of the Japanese Namco cabinet design - a Namco cabinet doesn't have the bolts on the sides and it would have had "rope hooks" mounted to the aforementioned blocks on top.

I had a converted Tri-Pool cocktail that had the same "E.J. CO LTD" tag on it, so I suspect they built empty cabinets and sold them to various manufacturers or perhaps sold empty cabinets for kits ...or both :)

Great info everyone.

So if I "60 in 1" this cabinet, can I still go to heaven?

I have no interest in leaving it a "dedicated Scramble bootleg".
