Proto type Luner Battle

Who got it? It was listed working for 250.00 in fort wayne IN this morning I emailed in less than five min and still missed it. Seems like a very rare proto type vector that eventually became Gravitar from what I could find. Seems like a cool find for who ever got it.

That's 'LUNAR BATTLE' , not 'Lunar Blaster'.

I responded abot 20 minutes after the ad went up. I really wanted that one. Alas, I Was too late. I was going to ask Scott about this today. He has the only one known. Here is the ad. I hope whoever got it knows what it is and it does not get parted.

They should have stuck with the LUNAR BATTLE name... it ties in to Lunar Lander... I mean WTF is a Gravitar?

There's 2 known. That will be the third. I won mine on eBay in 2007ish for $400 - unfortunately the LB marquee was broken and replaced with a standard Gravitar..

I knew someone that had a LB marquee but they wouldn't sell it!

I sold mine on to a collector in CA back in 2008.

The machine in those pictures has a Gravitar boardset. The Lunar Battle I have, runs on a modified Space Duel board with a small daughter card. The Lunar Battle marquee was never on glass, it was several layers of colored films, behind glass. It looks like that is a Lunar Battle, that was converted at the factory to Pre-Production/Proto Gravitar.

Got any pics of the hacked up Duel? Always like seeing those mods.
