I just had a game room built with a wooden (well, laminate) floor. I don't want to just move the games and pins in and scratch the crap out of it.

What do you guys recommend for protecting the floor against the feet of the games and pins?

We put rag carpets under our games when we put them on our laminate pretty inexpensive. It usually takes two per game.

I use the 4 pack of metal cups with carpet bottoms you can get at Home Depot for under $3. They're the perfect size to cup the leg leveler so they won't slide off and very, very cheap. I have full bamboo flooring (which is softer than yours) and they've never left a mark. Here's the link: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...3&langId=-1&keyword=carpet+cups&storeId=10051

Whatever you do, don't use casters or rollers as they WILL leave indentations in the flooring (as I learned the hard way). For pins or games that you don't want to slide easily, use the rubber cups. They may put a mark on the floor, but you will be able to rub it off when you move it.

Does anyone have experience with sliding games on a smooth concrete garage floor?
I am tempted to try one of the items mentioned above but I am skeptical they will work on concrete.

My wife is no help in moving these beasts around;)

The teflon levelers work well for me on smooth concrete. The felt pads have too much friction, and usually come off.

Wow, Bob I didn't know you were still around. Good to see you post.

Tom, cut yourself some plywood squares like I have, with carpet strips glued to the bottom. Slides right over concrete and protects the game from water.
