Hi all,
I'm working on a restore project that will utilize a 19" WG K4900 (monitor has a 2 pin power plug) and built a new power setup for everything. I followed Bob Robert's diagram and now I'm second guessing the use of the ground lines that I have on the isolation transformer going out to other components within the cabinet. I wanted to get guidance from you all on whether I need to isolate the ground going to the isolation transformer in some way, or is what I have right now satisfactory? I've tried to label as much as possible to aid in your help.
I guess the heart of my question is, can I have the green ground wire going to everything as seen in my photos or do I need to remove the connection of the ground off the isolation transformer that goes to the switching power supply and move it directly to the line filter? Am I over thinking this? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
