I have a friend who works for a major amusement company in my area. Lately, he's been installing LCD flat panels into Daytona's for the same reason. You just have to build a metal stand to hold up the TV. I think the monitor output of a Daytona is a pc plug if its anything like a Naomi cab, but I could be wrong. Should just be plug and play. I do think there is a couple pitfalls to watch out for. They were using a TV that could be programmed top stay on at power down so when power was reapplied, the TV would come on without having to be powered up via the remote. What size were you planning on replacing it with. I've seen some good deals on an LCD LED Sharps on the Sam's Club in 42" that might be nice @ 630$ Though, I can't say whether it can be programmed to come on at power up. Also, he said don't use the plasma's as they don't hold up under long term arcade conditions. If you don't get some decent advice, contact me and I can put you in touch with him. Also, you should check out some of the latest Sega Drivers, like Ferrari F350 challenge and Sega Daytona Revisited or Redux or whatever the hell they call it to get some inspiration. Best of luck.
