I picked up a Mario Brothers widebody cabinet, couldnt pass this one up.

Now in the market for parts.. :)

It has the original control panel, they just added some new buttons.

First order of business, pull all the oversized T-molding off!!!! Replace with the right 9/16 flat t-molding.

Second: Save up for artwork..

Might run a LCD & 19n1 for now.. Until I can find a monitor/brackets/pcb/pcb cage... etc.. everything on the inside.. :)

This resto is coming along nicely! You are doing a great job sourcing your parts.

Just fixing to wrap up my own resto on one of these (mostly down to electrical repair/bulletproofing).

I don't remember who does sideart for this (I think it is Phoenix), but I strongly suggest wet application method if you get the screened repro that is out there. I underestimated how thin the vinyl would be and the bubbling with a dry app was significant. Ended up with a lot of little pinholes from smoothing.

I got my WB side art from phoenix but haven't applied it yet so thanks for the tip!

Yes, Phoenix's side are is a spot on match: https://www.phoenixarcade.com/products/mario-brothers/mario-brothers-side-art

@OP - Nice work thus far! Mario Bros is one of my all time favorite arcade games. Especially the wide body. All of them should be saved!
