Project cabinets for sale, several to choose from (Mississippi)
Howdy y'all! If anyone is looking for a cabinet to start a restoration or MAME project with, I have a few that I need to move. No, that doesn't mean "FREE", but close to it. Here are a few candidates; most have NO MONITORS so they don't weigh a ton:
2 red Angle Cabinets (brand) Z-back-looking cabs, great for test benches since the control panel slides out the front, exposing a large shelf where your power supply and pcb can be accessed; one is dressed out for Area 51 with guns and holster holes in the front, the other is just empty. Each once held 25" monitors.
2 Stern cabs, neither was originally a Berzerk with the front-access door though.
1 ugly Pac-man cab, no monitor, otherwise complete.
1 Universal cab, was Space Panic originally, horribly converted to a bootleg DKJr. This cab was so ugly that I carefully stripped the paint, rough side art, and dirt off the sides with a razor blade before I even brought it home. Looks much better naked. Has the original (slightly modified) cp on it, with the original monitor, chassis, power supply, etc. but the harness has been modified for the new board. Would be great for a Mr. Do restoration since thisoldgame sells the side art for it.
1 Dynamo, has the cut-corner control panel.
1 Taito cab, was a Qix originally but is now a solid black Trivia Whiz with a different control panel. Would be great if someone would make it a full-blown Qix again, or at least make it LOOK like one. Thisoldgame sells the Qix marquee, bezel, cpo, and grey side art.
1 Williams cocktail cabinet that was converted to a "Jail Break". Very dirty and ugly, but most projects start out that way, right? No monitor. $25
Probably need to come pick these up, since it doesn't make any sense to pay $400 to ship one. PM me with offers or requests for pics if you're interested.
I need to move these by Feb 1. Thanks!
