Professor Pacman Value??

You mean you played Pac-Land before it was shipped off to me...because that cab was converted..it still had some Professor Pac parts on cab like the Sideart and lower control panel plexi..but the wiring was hacked to shit..and I had to find an original control panel and marquee along with Professor Pac boardset and rewire...it was quite a pain in the ass to locate those parts but at least it was saved..until I sold it to Dan..and then is was sold as part of the liquidation...that game has traveled..:D

Yeah, that's what I meant. It was Pac-Land when I played it but it still had the original side art and front thingy. I never got a look at the inside. The cabinet seemed to be in good shape overall but with rewiring and finding boards and all, it had to be a restoration bitch. It certainly is a well traveled game. It was in Holdrege, NE when I saw it. Don't about before that.

I always wanted to get a Pac-Land in the lineup. Many fond memories of playing it at Great America when it just came out!

Any particular reason on it's rarity? Limited run? Bombed in the arcades? I remember seeing quite a few back then at Aladdin's Castle chains.....

I dont think that many were made. Most were probably converted. Most that I do see for sale are in real bad condition. Its like any game made torwards the end of the arcade heyday, limited numbers were made. I like pacland because it has the music from the cartoon.

Yes Roadrunner has me beat on the pac stuff. He has them all and double of the professor pacs. In fact his collection is probably the nicest I have seen. If you like new in box, mint, restored, or just really clean original games then you will love his collection. Next time im in pittsburgh I hope to stop in and see your new gameroom.

Mike your always welcome to come up..in fact I would hope you would be one of my first out of town klovers to see the gameroom when its all done...you should see all the stuff I have now since the last time you were here...lots of goodies..
FYI..I have two Paclands now too..and the other one came from a trailer/warehouse find out west..:D The interesting thing is this dedicated pacland has the sideart silkscreened directly onto the cab..its not a decal like the all the other ones I've seen...and the back door has slightly different cut outs..i think its a very early version..and its all original and in very nice shape..I just need to find of those original plain black bezels..some idiot kid carved his initials in this one..don't think I can buff them out...sucks too because the bezel was very clean..been thinking of having Rich run a few of these..I know its just black border on glass..and I could use black cardboard behind glass..but I like to keep the rare ones original if possible...
