Production numbers for Road Runner,Marble Madness and EFPORB

I have been looking for these three games since 2004 and have not seen a single one in person, played one (except on MAME,NES),nor found one for sale in close proximity. Are these games that rare that people are just holding onto them, are the production numbers that low? Why are they upwards of $1,000?

I owned the first 2 and was offered the 3rd one for $450 from the Chicago area. As the first 2 are merely Sys 1 kits, that's the best way to acquire them.

Atari System I

I have Road Runner, Temple of Doom and Peter Packrat, sold Marble Madness, I know alot people love it but it just wasn't for me. I switch the others out about every 3 mos. I didn't have a problem acquiring the kits, all from members here. The prices vary dramatically but it seem that the going rate is about $400.

I'm guessing he means Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters. It's not a System 1 game, but I think it's similar hardware.

I suggest starting with a Road Blasters, as you can buy a desent one for under $300, and then start buying the other games as kits.

I dont think you have really been looking. L.O.L. atleast for the first two. I had kits and whole games at least 3 to 4 times each

Damn, share the wealth man!!! Lloyd got two marble madness's this year and I missed them both. They were sold before they even got off the trailer. I have had a guy with a roadrunner tell me he will sell it to me since January but keeps telling me has to go get it back, whatever that means. lol

Like others have said none of those are really rare at with probably the exception of finding a Peter Pack Rat control panel. Start out with the Roadblasters and convert it to other kits. That simple!

Robot Monsters is not System 1 and are you talking about the dedicated version? If yes, that is hard to come by albeit I've seen them more lately! I see the conversions around quite often....
