I'm trying to get my Freddy:A Nightmare On Elm Street going and have 2 issues keeping me from finishing it. First is the boiler room flashers do not work, new bulbs and a new driver transistor and still nothing. They don't flash in self-test either, but you can run a jumper from the transistor tab to ground and get them to light up. Second is the shooter lane kicker solenoid. It doesn't kick out the other balls during multiball. It will actuate during self test, but not during game play. I installed a new driver transistor when I had the board out, but still nothing. The shooter lane switch is working during self-test as well, anyone have any ideas what else to check, look for or try ?

Update: I have fixed the boiler room lights, but the autoplunger in the shooting lane still isn't working during multiball. You can actuate it in self-test and it actuates during game play if it is searching for a lost ball, but will not kick out the extra balls. The game does acknowledge the shooter lane switch in self-test and during game play. According to the manual, U2 on the driver board controls Q9 which controls this solenoid. If it can actuate looking for a lost ball, why wouldn't it actuate during multiball? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm out of ideas.

Update again: Problem solved, ended up being the shooter lane switch. Even though it would register, I cleaned the contacts and had to adjust them to where they're almost touching to finally get it to work.
