Problem With WG K7611. Won't show image in game but will with test pattern generator

I'm just had my Wells Gardner 7611 rebuilt by a company here in Dallas to use in my Qbert with the JROK board. I hooked everything up and nothing appears on the screen. It has neck glow and when I hook the test pattern generator up to it, I get that image (even though they hooked up the yoke wires up wrong, backwards image and upside down.) When I hook another Wells Gardner up to the Qbert, it works. Both of the Wells Gardners have the same pin out so I am at a loss. Any ideas? Please help!!!!

What I've noticed is that if your using a TPG the screen control can be set lower. Try adjusting the screen control and brightness.

Yep, I have checked all of that but thanks! I pulled the monitor back out of Qbert and hooked it up to my Super Pacman and still no image but has neck glow. So tomorrow back it goes to the repair shop. From now on, I am sending these to Buffett!

I'm in McKinney. I could look at it before you ship it off. What shop in Dallas did you bring it to?

Thanks for the offer but I already returned it to Atlas Electronics for them to repair it again. Turns out it was a busted CONTRAST pot that they missed. I may quit taking monitors to them. Their work is not what it was.

I used them a few times when I first got to the Dallas area. I stopped and decided to either fix them myself or send off to Betson in San Francisco.

no prob, if you have any chassis you need serviced, let me know.

if they tested the chassis there they should have found that broken pot.

glad it was an easy fix.

Peace
